My Library Story

Why hello and welcome. I've worked as a children's librarian in Queens Library for over four years. My community is composed primarily of new immigrants from South Asia as well as Central and South America. I find it exciting and satisfying to work in a multi-cultural neighborhood where education is highly valued.

I hope to offer the variety of unique experiences I've gathered working in one of the busiest, most diverse library systems with new librarians or those considering the profession. I also want to share the smaller satisfactions of daily library life, particularly relating to children.
